Expert Consultation for Complex Cases
As a solo, consultation-focused practice, I partner with primary care physicians, OB/GYNs, and pediatricians to provide high-level diagnostic clarity and specialized treatment planning. My goal is to serve as an extension of your care team, offering the sub-specialty expertise required for complex cases.
With board certification in General Psychiatry, fellowship training in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry, as well as completion of the Harvard Medical School Blackburn Course in Obesity Medicine, I bring a meticulous, evidence-based approach to every consultation.
Clinical Areas of Focus
Adolescent Psychiatry & School-Based Needs
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adolescents, with a specific focus on how mental health impacts educational functioning. My background in forensic and child psychiatry allows for a nuanced understanding of school-based advocacy, IEP/504 clinical support, and complex behavioral presentations. (For ages 12 and up.)
Perinatal Psychiatry
Specialized care for women across the reproductive lifespan. This includes preconception planning, medication management during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and treatment for postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
Metabolic & Psychiatric Health
Addressing the critical intersection of physical and mental wellness. I provide consultation for patients experiencing metabolic complications related to psychiatric illness or its treatment, including weight management, insulin resistance, and lifestyle-integrated psychopharmacology.
The Consultation Model
Referring physicians retain primary ownership of the patient's care while receiving detailed diagnostic formulation, evidence-based treatment recommendations, and ongoing collaborative support as needed.
