Great psychiatric care requires time, context, and careful thinking.
Rather than brief, high-volume visits, I provide structured consultations that:
Clarify diagnosis
Review prior treatments
Evaluate medication strategies
Offer clear, individualized recommendations
The goal is not just symptom management—but a deeper understanding of what is driving your concerns and how best to address them.
Your Privacy, Your Path
I believe that your mental health journey should be as private as you want it to be. To ensure the highest level of confidentiality and clinical integrity, my practice operates on a private-pay basis.
By choosing to work outside the constraints of traditional insurance, I provide a "protected space" for your care:
Total Confidentiality: Your treatment remains strictly between you and your physician. I do not share your reports, treatment plans, or session frequency with third-party insurance auditors.
No Mandatory Diagnosis: Insurance companies require a formal mental health diagnosis to authorize payment. Private pay allows you to seek support for life decisions and transitions, without a permanent diagnostic label on your medical record.
Protecting Your Future Insurability: When you apply for life or disability insurance, providers often review your medical claims history. A documented history of certain mental health diagnoses can lead to higher premiums or even a denial of coverage. By paying out-of-pocket, you maintain control over your medical data "footprint."
Clinical Autonomy: In my practice, clinical decisions stay where they belong: between you and your physician. We determine the frequency and length of your care based on your goals.
